Lisa Wooten, our founder, created Endeavor for Success to fill a void in the dealer support arena for private dealers and small dealer groups. Endeavor recognizes that most dealers have financial service product providers to help them with training their mainstream programs/presentations and the products they provide. What most dealers don’t have in their arsenal is an individual who maintains relationships with multiple finance sources, product providers and training resources. Endeavor can assist dealers with maximizing their current finance source portfolio and to find additional finance sources that may help them expand their sales volume. Mainstream financial services providers generally are not inclined to assist a dealer to increase their sales of products which their company doesn’t provide and tend to focus training on products which compensate the representative. We can help your finance team improve their skills with every product you choose to offer in your store which will help you improve your profit margins. Endeavor also maintains relationships with many finance product providers and can help a dealer complete/improve their product offerings. With twenty-two years of experience in the automotive retail industry and the majority within a publicly traded automotive dealer group, Endeavor has the background to assist dealers to protect their business and ensure that regulatory requirements are being met as well as their policies are followed to their expectations. We are unique in that we offer an individually based service that can be tailored specifically to our dealer client. With experience in many areas of dealership operations, we can move through a deal process from the initial meet and greet to the final paperwork delivery and all matters in between.
OUR PROCESS
Complimentary Initial Consultation – we meet with you the dealer and discuss expectations and needs.
Two to Five Day in-store evaluation – This is where we observe your variable operations from the sales floor all the way through to your finance office’s completion of the delivery. The time needed for observation will be determined in your initial consultation.
After our evaluation is completed, we will provide you with a summary of findings in each area of your variable operations. In this summary we will note areas for which we believe you have an opportunity to increase your production or protect yourself as the dealer and what Endeavor for Success can do to help you.
Once you determine the areas in which you would like to focus, we will tailor our efforts and pool resources to specifically address your concerns and build your dealership’s income production.
CONSULTING
With vast experience over a spectrum of franchises within the automotive industry, we can review store operations and help you determine areas of opportunity. This is where the “consulting” begins. We would rather call it a support role to help you identify areas where you can improve your profit margins or improve a process to increase your protection in the regulatory arena. Once your specific areas of opportunity are identified, we move in to the other areas of our services to tailor your consulting experience to your specific needs. We are with you start to finish in the process and as involved as you request us to be.
While our vast experience is in the automotive industry, our background includes financial planning, budgeting and forecasting. If you are a small business or thinking about a start up business of your own, we can assist you with formulating your business plan and financial forecast data.
TRAINING
Many dealerships do not have a formalized training structure for new hires or individuals promoted from within. This can be tricky as it often means team members are being trained by someone who was likely “trained on the job” without a full accounting of the details required to complete the job function profitably or properly documented. Many times we have a “sink or swim” mentality with sales or finance associates. This leads to lower production and on occasion DOJ/Better Business Bureau complaints. We can help you determine your training needs as well as assist you in developing formal training scripts, materials and processes. We are also available to facilitate training for your team. One on one training with specific individuals is a specialty and due to our size a unique offering compared to many training facilitators.

PORTFOLIO REVIEW
With the number of finance sources with whom we maintain relationships, chances are we can help you determine if you have the right finance source (bank) mix for your customer and the vehicles that you inventory. We can review your current bank portfolios and help you determine if you are utilizing them in the most profitable way for your individual store or group of stores and help you find finance sources. Many finance managers (and sales managers) are no longer trained to be familiar with bank programs and largely rely on “pushing the buttons” in Dealertrack or Route One. We can help you train your team in the art of deal placement for profit optimization.
Working with you, the dealer, we can help you maximize what you earn from your finance sources. By leveraging your portfolio properly, you can increase advance opportunities and product sales funding.
COMPLIANCE
This is an area that gets a great deal of attention in the regulatory arena. With the CFPB and the FTC increasing scrutiny of your lending sources and dealership operations, now is the time to make sure you are safeguarding yourself as the dealer by ensuring your teams are following guidelines. The obvious guidelines are those established by regulatory agencies of our state and federal government, but how about the guidelines you as the Dealer establish for your store (s)? Are you inspecting what you expect? Do you have your expectations in written form and acknowledged by every employee? We can help you by reviewing your current manuals, determining areas of opportunity and then assisting in the development of additional policy or procedure that effectively accomplish what you want to happen in your store(s). Having been a contributor for compliance policy recommendations and execution of those policies within a publicly traded automotive company, this is an area of strength for us.
